I am really disappointed with the service I received at Dan Auto Centre. I had booked an appointment for Saturday at 8:00 AM, but due to other commitments, they asked me to come back at 10:00 AM. I then had to wait for nearly 30 minutes without any updates. When my car was finally serviced, I requested a diagnosis for a clunky noise coming from the engine. They identified the issue as a faulty flex pipe and replaced it, but the noise persisted. When I questioned them, they insisted the problem was with the flex pipe.I had also requested an interim service and asked about topping up the antifreeze coolant, but was left unsatisfied. I took my car to another garage, where I found out that the antifreeze coolant was below the minimum level and that the clunky noise was actually caused by an issue with the shock absorbers, something Dan Auto Centre failed to diagnose properly.

I spoke to 5 different garages, none of which wanted to fix my car as it was a bit complicated. Dan’s garage not only took my car, but also collected it the very next day and returned it 24 hours later. The pricing was fair and exactly as advised during consultation, and I will definitely be using them again for any work my car needs.

Daniel is friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for him! He collected my Hyundai in the morning for a clutch replacement and had it back to me by 5pm the same day! He kept me informed throughout the service and I would highly recommend using Daniel for all your mechanical needs if you’re in the local area. 10/10 will be using again in future!
